Hello,

My problem is that I can log in just fine on the website but it wont work on the client.
Client tells me that username or password is incorrect.

Any ideas to what might cause this?

Also I created the account around 1-2hours prior to posting this.

Username and password are both case sensitive. Did you include the capital A in your name?

I tried both A and a at the start of username and made sure to not have capslock on when typing password.
I have also tried changing my password.

If you can log into the website but not into the client, you need to check some of the software you have on your computer and possibly your network connections.

Check security software. Make sure it is all up to date, that Java and Java apps can run on your computer (java.exe, javaw.exe, javaws.exe), and check settings relating to your browser and Java to make secure access isn't blocked. There has been issues with compatibility concerning a couple of security suites. Try disabling all security software temporarily and see if it allows you to connect.

Check your router to make sure that the traffic can get through. Salem requires ports TCP 1871 and UDP 1870 open. (Check the documentation for your hardware to see how to do this.) This applies to any firewalls either on your router or software firewalls you might have on your computer.

I have nothing that acts as a firewall on my computer and the ports are open. Java is also up to date and has nothing that should stop it from working as intended.
I can make use of websites, browser games and other PC games that require Java so I do not understand why this game is getting blocked by whatever.

im having the same problem and have done the same and it wont let me log in

Just registered, but I can't log in...
UN and PW just disappear, but nothing happens

Did anybody resolve this???
If so, how???
