Deaf Pilgrim

Postby piroslacker » Mon Aug 20, 2012 10:44 am

Hello,

Salem stopped playing sounds on my computer from about a month before the new forum was put up.
I've tried re-downloading Salem an reinstalling Java.
Any other idea?

I got the same problem, but I'm just glad when considering the complaints other players have about the constant turkey coop noises. x3 Just put on some nice music instead. <3

Make sure you didn't turn Salem down in your built in mixer after being drunk and getting scared out of your mind by a bear, or something. Anyone can make that mistake. Hrm.
I never managed to figure out something clever for my signature on Paradoxplaza, and I doubt I'll do it here either.

Actually, now that you mentioned it I realize I did disable sounds for Salem because of bear sounds back before the wipe.. o.O Think I keep it disabled tho. x3

Using the vanilla client.
Salem sound is set to maximum on all output devices.
It appears in the mixer window after i do an action that should play a sound. However, the volume indicator remains unchanged as if there was a blank sound being generated.
