Salem and Win 8?

Hi all,

after upgrading to Win8, Salem crashs immediatetly after starting it, with the following errorlog:

do you have latest manufacturer's drivers for your video card?

i bet he have intel(r) gma 950 video.

Thanks Sabinati,

after struggling with 3 different nvidia Drivers it finally starts again!

Bet lost :P _She_ has a gforce 460

not related to windows 8, i am also running salem & windows 8
but you need to reinstal your videocard drivers ;)
windows 8 wont do it at his own

Which worked and which did not? It might help other people. Were there any drivers before the problem?

there were the default windows 8 installed drivers, which, of course, are garbage.

Sorry for the late Response,

It works now with nvidia 310.90.
Can't remember which one caused the problem, was a Driver from sept. 2012 or something, the second one that caused the monitors to blink was the latest from 01/13. My hubby already removed it from the system, so I can't deliver the exact driver versions.
