I keep getting this Haven Error, every time i try login into Salem the client crashes and a pop window comes up with "an error has occurred!"

Here are the details from the error:

The community is relatively small. Bumping after four hours when you're not even five or six posts down isn't going to get you an answer any faster.

Have you tried disabling any antivirus or firewall software? Is your connections configured correctly? You may need to open UDP port 1870 and TCP port 1871. (You may need to consult your software or hardware manuals to do this.) Are you connecting through a business, school, or other 3rd party provider that might be blocking certain types of connections?

I have the same problem - stucks on "authenticating.." (no crash or so)
I'm sitting behind university internet access - didn't had a problem to login in MMOs jet.
I there a way to use a proxy to log in?

edit: got the same crash, when I tryed to use a Socks cap 5 proxy , with a http-proxy I get no response

I have to add, that H&H works perfectly fine - I have no Log-In issues there

Any advice to solve the login-problem?

UDP port 1870 and TCP port 1871 are open - are there any other ports I may need open - then I could ask my admin

I made a step forward - deactivated my http-proxy in firefox and it worked - now my password is incorrect....
