im pretty sure you can only light your torch via tinder drills and fint & steel.

And camp fires. It only makes sense you should be able to light from a stove also, I think you should be able to light from all sources of fire when they are lit (kilns, smelters and ovens), saves building a bunch of fireplaces around your village.
