Has anyone else encountered this problem ? The char has all of them unlocked, I can toggle them with hotkeys or through the paginae menu, but it doesn't actually affect my character's movement speed - even though it shows in the bottom left as being activated.

No broken leg, not overencumbered, but this is a char I haven't used for a long time, and before that it was only ever a lime miner that got promoted to mountain hiker towards santa.

right, Forage don't change movement speed
Run and Wander change movement speed

Fair enough, forage never changed the movement speed - I guess it always seemed to do so because i'm at the very least in Wander, if not Run.

Anyway, Wander/Run don't affect that character's movement speed, even though they still do for my other characters. That one seems to be specifically bugged somehow.

When under the effect of hypothermia, run/wander do not make you faster.
At least that's how I remember.

So is it hypothermia or something else?

hmm ok - turns out the char was at 96 from changing clothes before the trek ... it never went up after that so I kind of ignored it.
