Yesterday I left message here, but now it is in neighboring topic. Forum bug?
Here it is:

I was catching a Spiders with LASSO. Once it disappeared from my hand. I've looked in inventory, in backpack, in toolbelt and on the ground. Lasso disappeared.

It's not a bug. Regardless of which thread you post it in

lassos have a 50% chance (i think) to disappear on use since they are powerfull in combat.

Strange logic... It should rather become shorter but not disappear entirely.
