I'm not looking up the start date. Its over 2 years old...

How can our eyes be real when autopathing isn't real?

That is to say, there is no autopathing in this game. This is not starcraft, you don't need your buttload of zerglings to all think for themselves how best to go around obstacles, and even in such games most players acknowledge that auto-pathing is just for newbies and micro-managing is best. Here you have 1 character to control and it is up to your character's brain, played in this movie by yourself, to process how to do several things :

It is your task to process for your character how to maek fire.

It is your task to process for the character that there be no trees or other horrendously painful to faceplant obstacles between point A, at which your character is, and point B, to which you send your character.

It is your task to play the game, not the game's task to play itself while you feel good about yourself for the game engine having dodged a tree that you were unable to.

That said, this is not a bug, at best belongs in ideas and innovations.

If you complain, you should maybe, eventually tell us, what exact you figured as terrible and tell us, what you would make better.

Just yelling, that it is terrible wont help you.

I agree with title of this thread, because auto pathing is atrocious and that is why this game doesn't have it in it.

For only 10.99 bucks a day you can rent a chinese to avoid rocks instead of you.

You seem to have missed the point he was making. If you had done a search on the forums for Auto Pathing, you would have seen that it has been discussed several times, you might have saved yourself from looking foolish. We don't have Auto Pathing, we don't want to have it, we don't plan to ever have it. Please don't make ridiculous complaint threads in the Bugs section, that sort of thing is for Ideas or HoB.
