Lady Lovethanque has been exploring the darkness recently and has always managed to avoid or kill the evil beasts trying to eat her.
Unfortunatly a few nights ago she got caught by surprise by the malignant and slitherling Quetzalcoatl. Yikes!


I never got trapped by one of these creatures before so i looked at the wiki at what to do.

Darnit, no friends or alts in the vicinity to help me, what to do, what to do?!

I 'force' logged out and quickly logged back in only to notice that the snake had released me from his powerfull grasp. I was free for a brief second, but that second was enough to turn on 'sprint' and dash away, leaving the Quetzalcoatl behind hungry and confused. If you're not fast enough ( or your loading time takes very long ) the snake will obviously catch you again. I was happy i was free, but i don't think this is how it's supposed to go..or is it?


PS: tried to search for this on the forum but couldn't really find anything, perhaps i missed it. It seems like such an obvious trick so i'm thinking it must be mentioned somewhere.

Yes. It is.
Got like that a few times. Lost a half of blood and QC moving away.

Thanks, that's good to know. I didn't wait around for it to let me go after reading that stuff on the wiki.

I think the only damage i took was from poison, not too sure about the strangling. If it damages you all the same despite the time you're being strangled i geuss it won't matter much. Otherwise you log out the moment you get strangled, log in and start running away, minimizing the damage.

It's strangle has a chance to cause fractures but its poison is the biggest damage.
