Death by Smooth Stone?

So I was doing the tutorial, and I was picking up rocks, I figured that why not use a few rocks to get my skills up early, but when I went to use two after buying the survival skill, I died. I'm not complaining because it was just the tutorial, but I'm still confused.

Edit: I'm not able to recreate it, so it's not the Smooth Stones.

Fairly sure you can't die in the tutorial. Did your client crash or did you log out? Your character won't save unless you finish the tutorial.

Legit I had died, I'm not making this up and I wish I could recreate it. I don't really know what else could have happened because I got the "You have died" box explaining everything.

Were you perhaps in the tutorial for a total of 88 hours?

Also do you remember what the date was of the server time?
