So
The last couple of times i've been gluttoning, i've been trying to use candy as a restore food. Tried it for four different food groups; Berries, shrooms, game meats and bread. None of these candies worked

.
Are they bugged at the moment, or do they come with a "use before" date

?

you could have simply been unlucky: the candies only have 50% chance to undebuff.

Fun fact:
Where the usual restore foods "highlight" the food group they restore, candies do not.
And, with the amount of candies i used there is less than a 0.01% chance that i was just unlucky (not saying that it is not a possibility - just wondering if anyone else has any experience with it).

foods do not highlight the food group they restore: they highlight the group they belong to. I did not have issues with candy previously, but it's been a good long while since I bothered with them.

Last time I used candies I used about 13 berry restore ones, and none of them worked. So I've had a similar experience to you, albeit a smaller sample size.

I don't know, I used candies just yesterday in a glutton session and all of them worked. you're probably just unlucky or misread something somewhere in the description.
either that or the problem got ninja-fixed.

Mine have been working this past week with no issues also. Sounds like horrible RNG luck.

OK - so i just tried again.
This time i used 22 loyalist lollies to restore my berries debuff. Ate them from a table. No restore.
With 50% chance to restore with each one, that means that there is ~0.00002% chance of not getting a restore. Add that to the former candy restore using session (which would give 0.01% chance of not getting a restore) that is ~0.0000002% chance of not getting a restore.
Either i am the most unlucky guy in the world, or there is some problem with candy as a restore food used from a feasting table.

Why are you pulling numbers out of your ass?
If there is a 50% chance to restore, then it only has 50% chance, not more or less.

Why are you such an idiot?
Learn math and come back.
