Quick check whether anyone else is experiencing this: the server never sends a characterselection widget, and hence i'm just stuck on a black screen after log in.
Happens to me on all three clients.

Just worked for me.

silly networking issues. Solved after a reboot. Apparently linux did not like my attempt to switch window managers
