unreadable numbers/ small text

since hnh until this point in salem the text font looks different for me than what it should be,
Which makes the text smaller and and makes the numbers 0 and 8 look the same, like here (the official client):
http://imgur.com/JM7a7
and another one form 02-05-2012 which I posted on the paradox forms (ender's client):
http://imgur.com/fxk8n
and the link to the paradox forms (im trying to give as much information as i can):
http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/sho ... st13777468

as i looked at the forms (hnh, paradox and salem) I could not find a solution but i found a few people complaining about this problem
some did not even know that it's a bug ( I was sure it was not a bug until I saw how it supposed to look on a sterm)

If you need any more information or anything they can do to help please ask

If I recall, I saw a couple of threads on this, and a possible solution was to check International settings on your computer, as that can change how a font is displayed.

by international settings I guess you mean Regional and Language Options> Administrative> Language for non-Unicode programs
as i don't see anything else useful there,
I have that on English (USA), I tried changing it to anything else but it didn't seem to affect it for better or worse

Thanks for checking on that. One of the complaints I recall on it was a script (Eastern Asian specifically) lanugage setting that was interfering with Roman style fonts.

The only other thing I can think of right now is if your computer's graphics card is trying to expand or compress the image to display at your monitor's native resolution. It can cause the same thing. I know it was a huge issue trying to display resolutions other than native on my old laptop's LCD, but most newer systems don't seem to have this issue. Depending on the video card in your system, you might try adjusting some settings if you can.

I tried changing the resolution to 800x600 which made everything bigger but didn't fix the problem and the font stayed the same:

but it seems like ender's client uses another text font, if everything else fails will it be possible to change the default font to ender's
and if so where and what file will have that code

It is terribly disturbing with these bugs that only occur under unclear conditions that I can't reproduce. Perhaps if you could send me a heap dump of the VM when the client is running, I could debug it. A heapdump is several hundred megabytes, though.

Wasn't it Hebrew?

I'm on pc that's in English but my default language is Hebrew, and I am having the same issue. I've also had it in HnH back when I played that.

Can you check if that has something to do with the display language
its in Regional and Language Options>keyboards and languages>display language
I can't do it because im not using Ultimate/Enterprise
(my display language is not english)

Looks to me like you've got Font Smoothing disabled or Cleartype turned off - or maybe even both! It also looks like your monitor might be downscaling to a resolution that it doesn't support at a true 1:1 pixel ratio. Here are links with info on how to check those things:
