Majestic Acorns nerfed?

I was very pleased with the food buffs about a month ago, but in the past 2 weeks I haven't found a single Majestic Acorns, either on Prov or Popham. We are talking about harvesting 40-60 bushes a session with 0 found, it used to be 1 about every 5-10 bushes. Is this a stealth nerf or am I missing something? Herbs & Sprouts skills around 300, so not sure if it was tied to that or another proficiency?
