Animal Corpses stored in house vanished overnight.

Took some time off and started playing again recently. I had the bottom floor of my two floor house full of animal corpses, bears, deer and beavers to be exact - all waiting to be skinned and butchered.

I logged in today and they are all gone. They were there yesterday and the day before, today gone. I recently built a bed on the top floor and started using that, other then that nothing else has changed with the house itself.

I'm not sure of the intended functionality here, but the fact that the corpses had been there for months while I wasn't even playing leads me to believe that their sudden disappearance is a bug of some sort.

They have a chance to disappear if you load the map. So if youve started being in there more due to bed upstairs voila...

Does this apply to mines as well? Or just building.

It does. Animals aren't meant to stay in the world when dead. It's a bug that they do sometimes. Try putting the bodies into sleds or carts if you want to preserve them.
