I'm not 100% sure if it's meant to but when harvesting corn in it's baby corn stage, the purity of the field is not raised despite the purity of the seeds (and the baby corn) being higher then the field.

Yes, we know it's that way. It should also be the same for pumpkins.

i get it for corn, but why for pumpkins?
Baby corn is after all the fastest growing crop, but first stage pumpkins take 4 days so they're not particularily fast.
