I got 2 messages when I was killing beavers with a club. When I was hitting them the first message on system : the perpetrator is not logged in and for the 2nd beaver : you cannot carry more (I wasn't even encumbered). It's not really a problem but it's a bit strange. A new beaver's defense ??

There are odd situations when previous system errors are called back. I have never been able to isolate exactly why it happens though.

server errors then ? quite often I get error messages that are definitely not applicable to me (e.g. no fuel in smelters when I haven't been smelting for days).

Curious, do you not get the "last" system error you have seen? Or are you sure it is more random then that. I always assumed this was simply a cause of an error failing to be 'set' and thus it displays the last one that was set to it.

These messages are quite random.

From what I experienced I doubt that, I was frequently getting "you need to be using a lit crucible" but I forgot what caused it, though at that time I had not used a crucible related item or recipe in a while.

The mystery continues then....... and actually, now that i think about it. it is entirely possible that it might be the last system message the server handled, regardless of character....... So you may be simply getting the last error message that ANYBODY on the server had received.

Yeah, that's what it feels like. Those rogue error messages are always really disconnected... Like complaining about smelters while I'm hunting beavers.

Subjectively, it does seem like they're common error messages, just very wrong ones, which also lends itself to your guess.
