Character lost and "black screen"

Hello dear Salemites, i hope you can help me.
2 days ago i tried to join Salem, but I faced a problem with black screen instead of the character selection. I tried to off all my firewalls and tried to open ports 1871 TCP and 1870 UDP, but that not helped. Yesterday i tried to join Salem again and woah, that's working fine! But here a new problem: My main character, "SkyStrider" not displayed on site and on character selecting. May be him just died, but... my friends telling me what this character still alive and online on server. Can you check this character and if he still alive - return it to my account?

This actually happens when you die and your corpse has not decayed yet, are you sure you had a leanto claimed on that character? if not, you died of madness

if so, the character would still be listed on the site, as far as I am aware.

Uh, i left him without claimed Leanto

that would keep him forced-logged in on the server. You can not log out when you do not have a leanto.

do NOT "log out" by closing your client window. This does not guarantee that your character logs out from the game world. Use either the option menu buttons or the :act lo console command.

If you had tried this, it would have given you an error message stating that you could not log out.
