When I use boiled Witch Hats in Garlic Mushroom Pie and glutton it - it is still poisonous.
How come?

Its a bug. Dont boil mushrooms. Just eat them for your gluttony and then eat a berry mash laxative. Your debuff will be gone in no time.

Keep in mind that you should keep your inspiration under 500k or relatively low so as to not lose part of it when your max black bile goes down from poison.

Is it just a bug with witches hats?

I boil those reasonably often and haven't gotten an issue yet, and boil a lot more morels and toadstools and never do.

I think it may only be witches hat but overall I just ignore it marrymash is so easy to make and works so quickly that it is of little to no concern.

Morels too. It doesn't register the boil all of the time.

How long does the laxative take to work?

it says within 50 minutes but the poisoning only holds 1 hour after 1 shroom so is 50 minutes true?

Switch to potted sugar caps and Lobster mushrooms when you can - together they cover all the biles.

Hmm...I've probably eaten about 50 boiled yellow morels and 30+ Witch's Hats and I've never been poisoned. Maybe I've just been lucky, though.

Edit: Far more if you count those made into garlic-stuffed 'shrooms.

Has this bug been going on for a while? I have basically gotten to 150 biles with garlic mushroom, froghetti, and more, and this bug has just begun to hit me in the last few days. Every time I eat boiled yellow morels or witchs hat, I get mushroom poisoning. It has never happened to me once before this moment.

On again, off again bug? Coincides with a certain proficiency level, skill, or bile level? Things that have just happened to me are unlocking Mortar Masonry, breaking 100 to 111 H&S, Forestry, something else that I can't recall.
