Java Update... V. 1.7.0_05-b06

Windows 7-64bit....After this Java update a couple days ago the Salem desktop icon didn't work. I don't remember the windows message, though I was asked if I wanted to delete the icon since it didn't work. Is there another way to start Salem without opening my web browser?

control panel>java>temporary internet files: View>show applications>run client from list

I followed your directions but the applications list is empty. All the lists are empty.

If the list is empty, you'll need to download again. The cache might have been wiped.

The game was working fine for a couple days after the update and icon problem. Then i tried to run the client after the last post here and it did a fresh install... im confused. Oh well, it works now and I put a short cut on my desktop from the start menu. Thanks for the help.
