Animal breeding

Postby rustles » Sun Jul 26, 2015 8:47 pm

I'm just wondering if animal breeding has been implemented yet, or its bugged, or if it just takes a very long time for them to make babies.

Has anybody produced baby animals yet? I have a pair of adult pigs, one is obviously female because it has teets, and eye lashes. The other is obviously male because it doesn't have teets, and has a more masculine face and has a different walking animation. They've been fully mature for probably 5-6 days now.

i think they must be happy to start making kids, maybe if they have very low temperament both ,there are chance to make a kid ,but not sure ,we can check it with a time,

Well guys it seems the mechanic works.

I logged on a couple days ago and found a new piglet around my pigs. As well as something that appears to be an aborted fetus that can be carried.

I have no idea what they were. I wasn't really paying attention to temperament as I didn't have the means to lower it.

Its possible that high temperament stops them from breeding, I had two male goats that had insanely high red bars(I think 99 and 98) and were 100% pissed off all the time. They both died recently because they're stupid and kept kicking over the troughs. They didn't breed with my female goat though, dunno if they died too fast or if they were too pissed.

What your Billy Goats thought when they periodically looked at each other and were reminded of the (intolerable) existence of the other Billy Goat.

Billy Goats do not like other BIlly Goats.

It is my theory that they continued to get more pissed/not get less pissed when around each other, because of this. One of them had to go. Normally this would occur when one died or ran away, but yours didn't, so they you know, stayed angry. All the time.

TLDR:

Billy Goat Haet other Billy Goat. Remedy this. (By removing Bad Billy Goat. Might as well breed the "Good" one.)

I think the fact that they were extremely angry goats by nature was more likely. The second one died a day after the first one.

We lowered their temperament all the way to zero before they grew up, and when we found them mature they were already 100 temperament.

I'm cursed with angry goats, I've had to buy several of them and got 2 from the event, all very high red bars. They always die before they breed, except for one time(that was also pissed and committed suicide shortly after).
