Basically I was fighting a beaver and the game logged me out instantly for no reason, my net was doing pretty fine all the time.
I tried to log in back instantly in which case it said you're already logged in so I closed and reopened the client and tried to relog.
It took about 1 minute to do that and by the time I logged back in I found myself KO-ed in shallow water and you can guess what that means.I didn't lose anything of much value really except for a few hundreds of silver and 700k inspiration but the point of this thread is, what if I didn't have my hunting knife equipped in my hand/toolbelt and it'd get lost that way, what if I was fighting a wishpoosh and that disconnection mixed with rngesus would cost me my character, it's a game where you can lose anything and I fully understand that, but not if I can lose everything because of an outside factor which doesn't have anything to do with the actual gameplay itself.
So if there's a way I can get my items refunded/character restored if this should happen again in the future please do let me know in the comments or pm me either way.
Again I repeat my net was fine and if the problem was on my side I would've noticed since I had this very forum open when that happened and it was working perfectly fine.
Also not ruling out the possiblity that using Ender's client could've caused this but I highly doubt it,still pointing it out regardless.

They won't refund anything unless the item is a store item you bought with rl money, and the server had to be rolled back.

Plus the fact that your using a Custom Client, and recently Enders/Latikai has been crashing a lot, if your client crashes and you lose items/character because of that, they most likely wont refund/restore anything, because you took the risk of using an unofficial client.

Your just going to have to accept the possibility of losing everything at a moments notice, regardless of how it happens. Id take a wild swing and guess that the ONLY time items/character would be given back would be if some major glitch happened on the server end, like 10 Bloodmoons happening at once, effectively giving you 10 madness levels instantly, PKing your character.

I see, well at least it's comforting to know that they can/might restore store bought items, thanks to both of you for the replies.

Also, you don't lose stuff in your hand or toolbelt upon KO.
