Fishing bug?

Hey, I have read that there is a 99% chance that you catch a fish while you use a worm as bait. The very first time I tried to fish I got the mini game to pop up and everything. Ever since then, like 25 worms, I can see the lure in the water and then it just disappears. Is this a glitch or do I not understand something?

Don't know where you read that but it's not true. The only upside of using worms is that your fishing pole won't wear out, but it's a hassle because you have to put another worm everytime.

Yeah also try fish traps and fill them with acorns, meat shreds or whatever xD
