Hello,
We are facing a gate bug. The constructing sign does not appear when we are clicking Build Gate to South!
What should we do? Pls help.

I suspect that those corner posts are not appropriately spaced apart from one another.

Wow way to fail, you need more space between those two corner posts, a door cannot realistically fit in that small space.

I have a similar issue with gates.

A newbie friend of me has build stone hedge and has left 2 Tiles for the gate.
But i cant build her a Gate.
I wonder why the wall and cornerposts seems not fit the grid.

How does it happend?
She has begun to build a cornerpost and then build around her claim until she came back and place the last cornerpost 2 tiles away, like in descriptions of the wiki.





It seems that she has placed the first cornerpost wrong and then the whole wall is in a wrong placement.
She has used a custom client and it seems she has not aligned the startpost to the grid.
The wall is now absolutely misplaced and i think the only chance to correct it is destroying the wall
But her biles are definitivly not high enough for a long time.
So she needs to move her claim

That was also my result after investigating the issue

I have always placed my walls in right way, so i have seen this issue the first time.
And would write it in this thread because other newbies should be warned

I have add the warning in the wikis btw.
