So i can be out doing whatever and at random times my mouse clicks stop working. I can open and close windows but no actions of any kind. I figured it was something in the default client so I got enders and it still happens. Found a topic and the guy said he changed his color from 16 bit to 32 bit and it fixed it but I am on 32 bit.

The legendary lag fix was prob not as legendary as JC would have hoped. It did help reduce the lag a lot however sometimes... If you wait for 5-10 seconds it will generally be ok. Also default may not do it but custom clients when you are shift transferring items with a lot in your inventory it will lag for a second. If it is happening a lot and or you have to close the client it may be something else. Does the screen go black with loading do you have to close the client every time. Is there a new error log in the salem folder? The more details the better the community can help.

I have let it sit for a minute or 2 at most before restarting. Now I have seen the 5-10 second lag but a min+ is a bit much im not waiting around ill just restart the game. It just gets old doing it.

Do other interface functions work, such as moving with WASD? Can you use hotkey buttons by using the key? Open and close different windows with the appropriate hotkey? If not, then it's probably network or server related. However, if you can open these, then you most likely have a hardware or driver issue. As for what to do, it's hard to say as we don't know what kind of hardware and software you're working with. At a minimum, we need to know OS and specific version number, Java and version number, and what kind of video you have.
This has been known to crop up for different players, but it's not often enough and nobody has been able to track a source of the problem other than the post above from pilgrim.
