I dunno if its just me but its undroppable if you fill your inventory up with branches and the last is the 'spawned' broken bough inspirational.
Cant right or left click to move or drop, but a workaround i've found is to click it onto a branch in your bag, then drop that. Whatever.

I had a little heartattack when I closed my inventory with pilgrims purse in a hand and being not able nor to drop it, nor open the inventory to put it back... Then I think hotkeys somehow helped me

But I guess it's the same bug.
