Ensure your router and any security software you use allows ports TCP 1871 and UDP 1870 for Salem/Java use, and that those programs aren't trying to block Salem. Make sure your service provider isn't causing issues. You can ping or tracert game.salemthegame.com to check for latency issues. If you're on WiFi, make sure you have a stable connection. Some sites are more tolerate of mediocre connections than others.
