Hello all,
I just tested this complaint and found it to be inaccurate. I tested it on a table and out of my inventory, just to be sure.
First result (out of inventory) - used truffle taffy - 10/15 successes
Second result (off table) - used truffle taffy - 6/15 successes
Third result (out of inventory) - used truffle taffy - 7/15 successes
Fourth result (off table) - used truffle taffy - 7/15 successes
Fifth result (out of inventory) used truffle taffy - 5/15 successes
Sixth result (off table) - used truffle taffy - 22/50 successes
Seventh result (out of inventory) - used truffle taffy - 21/50 successes
Eighth result (out of inventory) - used beargarden biscuit - 9/20 successes
Ninth result (off table) - used beargarden biscuit - 10/20 successes
Based on these findings I deem that the candies are working as intended. I would test ALL of the varieties of candies, but since they all use the same code, I don't think there's a reason to invest the time - however, if someone is able to provide findings that differ from my own with a specific kind of candy or food, I will happily test it. Players hoping for an adjustment to their results may want to consider obtaining the Lucky skill.
