I'm using Java 6 update 37 (64-bit) after downloading java 7 Update 9 and the text returned to normal
I uninstalled java 7 to see if the problems come back ( did not uninstalled java 6 before installing java 7)
and it seems that the problem has something to do with Java 6 update 37 (64-bit)
