Could be Norton doesn't like Java. Could be you need to add it for the .jar file. I don't like Norton, so I don't mess with it. I'm sure there's an answer on the web somewhere.

Found this link. No idea if it will be helpful or not: http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-I ... td-p/25531

Have you tried temporarily disabling the firewall to see if that was the problem? Have you checked your network setup to see if you need to do anything specific with it? Can you successfully ping the server?

Depends on your operating system. On Windows, you need to open a command prompt. Do this by going to Start>Run and enter "cmd.exe". Once a window is open, enter the command ping <domain name or IP address> for the domain, you just need the <name>.com, othertimes you'll need the subdomain. In this case, use "ping plymouth.seatribe.se". If you don't get a response, something with you or your ISP isn't working right. If you're not sure about internet service, you can try pinging Google or another major site. (FYI, unless there really is a serious ISP problem or network problem, you should get some sort of response and time by pinging the server.) You should see something like

Pinging plymouth.seatribe.se [194.237.239.121] with 32 bytes of data:

Reply from 194.237.239.121: bytes=32 time=178ms TTL=37
Reply from 194.237.239.121: bytes=32 time=178ms TTL=37

Do a tracert to plymouth.seatribe.se and see where the problem is...then call your ISP and troubleshoot the issue with them. nfc wat language that is, but it looks German to me...PM a guy named MrGemini and maybe he can help you.

Just to get it out of the way, could you check to see what make and model of router you are using (if any)? There's been certain issues with a specific brand of router (not sure if specific models or just the brand) and connection issues some of the German players use. I believe that most people that have resolved this issue have had to connect to the router's configuration firmware and manually force the ports open (TCP 1871, UDP 1870).
