[Hanging] White window

I get the same thing with my client. I have ATI 5770 with the latest drivers. I have used drive sweeper to clean the drivers and re-install them. Triple Buffering in Open GL is NOT turned on. I was using Java 7. After reading under some other threads I uninstalled and switched to Java 6. Still just getting a white window and the client won't fully launch.
