theres a bug where in criminal mode when you get knocked out, you stay knocked out and you dont regain consciousness

If you got kod on someone's claim... it's not a bug it's intended. You will stay kod for 24 (maybe 48) hours or until someone kills you or until the owner decides to send you home.

I'm KO'd on my own claim with a crime debuff and can't stand up. If someone uses 'sent home' I'm just falling to the ground again and losing skillpoints.

Hmm, the only thing I can think of is that you let your claim run out of upkeep, someone destroyed it, then built their own in it's place. If so, try spamming the teleport to Boston hotkey until you can get to Boston. Eat food to bring you humors back up. Then try to teleport home (if your claim was your homestead). If it is no longer your claim, you will no longer be able to teleport home and will need to walk off Boston and start fresh.

Nop. I told my friend to destroy my leanto, was sent to Boston by 'sent home' and debuff disappeared.
