Splitting cabbage inside a wooden box doesn't work

Postby Pascal666 » Mon Dec 03, 2012 11:01 pm

I tried to split a tier 1 cabbage(coleword) in a wooden box, but it didn't give me anything in return.

Sometimes cabbage head is empty. It's related to how plenty is handled in the fields. Basically last cabbage head you harvest is not "full" and will produce less leaves. Sometimes even 0

If anything that's a bug that should be fixed too.
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.

I did report it, and loftar game me that explanation, which makes sense to me. He also said that he might think about making it more uniform:
[Bug 75] Splitting items, or actions producing multiple items don't always produce correct amount.
It's not strictly a "bug". The amount of produce yielded by the crop is
distributed among the harvested items, but it's not evenly divided, so the
"last" items harvested has the "leftover" produce of the field, which is less
than its "full capacity".

If anything, it can be argued that the produce should, indeed, be evenly
divided among the harvested items, but that wouldn't change the actual amount.
