I don't know, wether wikipedia informations should be trusted at all, since in minor details, like food values they contain dated information, but in more serious topics I expected them to be precise, that's what I base this topic on.
The salemwiki.info website states, that cave-down causes heavy blood damage, which salem-wiki.com reinforces and also states, that damage dealing cave-downs only happen from 4 to 5 and below.
I was minin at level 2, just to get rubble, though hoping for a level 3 entrance I heated some dark walls, and I happened to mine just those, I did not give much thought to that, since when I purposely tried to find a cave-down, it just did not want to happen.
But now it did, and did with a great impact...
While mining, I triggered 2 cave-ins, but just wanted to get a bunch of more boulders out of that rock, befor placing the support. Which happened to be a terrible idea. At the worst moment, I triggered the cave-down. What I did not expect, was a full damage on all four humours, full 60 blood gone, 65 yellow gone, 64 black gone and about 40/65 phlegm (since it wasn't full) also gone. Furthermore, I don't know, how it is supposed to work, but my body got to level 3, which was also full of bats.
I ate every healig food I kept at my base (I keep mostly gluttony foods in containers, while healing foods mainly in inventory), but that wasn't helping much. Hurried back to the mine and down to level 3. But the bats did not despawn yet and was so low on blood and yellow (8-10), I couldn't put up a fight or just grab some stuff, I had to retreat empty handed. I went quickly looking for food, but then the last problem hit. The cave-down did not clear (I don't know whether it should) the two cave-ins in progress, so when I returned with humours filled, the entrance was completely covered in rocks, I had to dig a hole to it, but when I got there, obviously, everything was gone... (Also, it look ridiculous, though I won't upload a pic about it, since it's unrelated to the post, the entrance has unminable tiles placed upon itself, I click a small pile of rock sticking out of the wall to get one level below.)
I honestly don't know, how many of the things I stated are intended, and how many of them are not and I'm sorry if I'm wasting anyone's time telling all of this, but all this felt so out of place. Not the usual punishing feeling the game makes for every misstep (and what we like about it), but pure trolling (added, that I just finished crafting a weeklong reserve of healing food, which now I have lost for the second time this week).
