Require confirmation mail on e-mail change

In regards to some skype shenanigans i've been having lately, I checked the salem security features for the accounts.
What happened to me with skype: someone managed to 'guess' my password, and afterwards changed the account contact e-mail without me getting any say in it.
Currently, it is possible on the salem forums/game to change the contact e-mail of the accounts with just the password to the account itself. Would it be possible so that a confirmation mail sent to the current e-mail address is required ?
