Cart bug

Postby DeepSixed » Sun Feb 28, 2016 2:11 pm

Just this morning... I'm taking a fully loaded cart to my clay pit; the cart is not on my hip... attached me directly... it's attached via line.

I have no speed boost (hiking/run/etc) enabled, but I'm running ahead of the cart a big way... and the cart is slowly making time to catch up with me. (The Cart is moving w/o anyone in driver seat sort to speak... it's catch up to me (driver)... slowly)) Spiders, rabbits, crickets... all are crossing line that attaches me to cart... but cart keeps catching up so long as none directly interfere with it.

This has got to be a bug or glitch in the code.

Alas its just lag. not much that can be done about it.
Do not argue with idiots, for they will pull you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

Yeah noticed this too, I don't think simply calling it lag is accurate as the server shouldn't permit such a thing to happen regardless of how much lag you have. It's not particularly exploitable though as it's only a minor convenience since the cart still moves at the same speed as usual so you're not really gaining anything... Guessing they just don't want to spend time on it.

had and have that several times. it looks like it's not displayed correctly for the most part. it still behaves sometimes as there is also something faulty in the code. all in all strange but nothing that needs immediate fix
