It really sounds like some kind of firewall issue to me.

What's the name of the account you're using to log in?

I find a few references in the logs where those accounts log in, only to time out soon again afterwards, which probably indicates that packets can reach the server from your computer, but not the other way around. Since you don't seem to be having trouble with the authentication (TCP) phase, that sounds to me like a case of router with bad UDP NAT. Or, again, perhaps some kind of firewall that simply blocks the return packets.

The problem is coming form Java 7 update 9. Can you check that out?

Editing Enders Radar, but yea, I downgraded an update and it works fine now

I got 7u9, but I can't reproduce your problem. Couldn't it, perhaps, be that you've set a Windows Firewall exception for some older JVM executable but not for the 7u9 one, or something like that?

Perhaps, its just weird that an update could cause a firewall error of some sorts
