Having to cook crab to use in coop/trap/compost

I find this a bit silly that I cant feed my turkeys raw crab meat or crawdads, add them to compost, or put them in fish traps until cooked.

The crawdads in the traps is the only thing that kinda makes sense because then the fish would just eat the crawdads as soon as you catch them.

Pls fix this, its really annoying.
